BRIEF OUTLINE OF RAGGED TOOTH SHARK SPECIALITY COURSE 

This course highlights:

 Ragged tooth shark introduction

  • Ragged tooth shark taxonomy & classification
  • Ragged tooth shark habitats and distribution
  • Ragged tooth shark biology
  • Ragged tooth shark behaviour
  • Threats to Ragged tooth sharks
  • 2 OPEN WATER DIVES TO:
  • Estimate size, sex and number of Ragged tooth sharks encountered
  • Recognise Ragged tooth shark external anatomical features
  • Recognise Ragged tooth shark behaviour

 Each participant is given course materials, together with a moulded Ragged tooth shark tooth and will be issued with a SharkLife / PADI certification on completion of the course.  The PADI certification is optional and is in addition to the SharkLife certification
